Dislocated Elbow and Things I Want to Do

...but can't!

So, I dislocated my elbow 2.5 weeks ago playing soccer. I won't bore you with the details but here's a list of some of the things I want to do, but can't (at the moment) as well as a list of some of the things I should be doing but can't (for now).

Things I want to do... but can't

1.Play the guitar
2.Play soccer
3.Kayaking - I never kayak, but now that I can't, I really want to do it.
4.Take pictures - I really should be taking pictures for my Ossining Bicentennial assignment, but that's simply impossible at the moment
5.Put on each and every garment without any help
6. Shift into fifth gear and reverse with my right hand!
7.Put on make up
8.Actually fix my hair
9.Pick up anything heavier than my keys with my right hand
10.Sleep on my right side
11.Get out of the sling!!
12.I almost forgot... biking!
edit: I can't believe I forgot fishing! FISHING!! man, I wanna go fishing!

Things I need to do... but can't

1.Get back in the lab (at work)
2.Laundry
3.Take out the trash
4.Change the water on my fish tanks/cleaning the filters
5.Drive with both hands!
6.Anything that involves picking up anything or using my dominant arm... so ... most everything.

On the bright side, I'm able to do a lot more things now than I could 2 weeks ago and thankfully I suffered no broken bones =) so it could be worse. Can't wait to play again!!

Rescued Kitty

This kitty was hit by a car and rescued by my sister-in-law who obviously has a big heart. Mr. Whiskie is in serious need of surgery so it can be adopted. Every little bit helps... please donate :)

Mega Millions

So for the past few days I've been dreaming up a storm about what to do 'when' I win the lottery. But now I feel a bit guilty - I mean, what makes me so deserving of such an enormous amount of money? Do I need money? yes. Are there people that need it more than me? sure. Such a battle in my head for such terrible odds.

New Project

So... I may not be posting any photographs for now because I'm working on a new project about the Ossining Bicentennial. I'll be busy taking pictures for that and won't have much time to play around with much of anything else. You know, apart from my full time job and remodeling my bathroom. =)

I'll try to squeeze in a few pictures here in there when I have some time. I think Leiah is due for a photo shoot.

So in the spirit of experimenting I decided to put this panorama together - I love the vibrant green colors and the way the clouds hang over the entire thing. Love it.

Abandoned Castle

So today was the first time I started messing around with HDR's. I'll post one that's completely ridiculous in the sense that it's obviously Photoshopped, however, it looks cool so I'm posting it anyway. Everything is overdone on purpose to add to the dramatic effect. Ok for the first time.
